1. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies
The MediOra Health website currently does not use cookies or similar technologies that store information on a user’s device or access information already stored there.
Cookies are small text files stored on a user’s device when visiting a website. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags and other mechanisms that store or access information on a device.
In particular, the website currently does not use analytics, tag-management, advertising or conversion-tracking technologies, and no such technologies of third-party providers are integrated into the website.
2. Consent Management
Because no cookies or similar technologies requiring consent are used, the website currently does not display a consent banner and does not use a consent management platform.
3. Technically Necessary Processing
Delivering the website requires the processing of technical connection data, such as the IP address, by the hosting infrastructure. This does not involve storing information on the user’s device. Further information is provided in the sections “Website Hosting” and “Server Log Files” of the MediOra Health Privacy Policy.
To protect the contact form against automated spam, the contact page requests a signed time value that is sent together with the form. This value is held only in the open page and is not stored on the user’s device.
4. Legal Basis
Because the website does not store information on users’ devices or access information already stored there beyond what is technically required to transmit the website, no consent pursuant to § 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) is required. Where technical connection data constitutes personal data, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest of MediOra Health in providing a secure, stable and functional website.
5. Browser and Device Settings
Most browsers allow users to view, restrict, block or delete cookies. The available options depend on the browser and device used.
Users can generally configure their browser to:
- notify them before cookies are stored;
- reject certain cookies;
- block third-party cookies;
- delete existing cookies; or
- delete cookies automatically when the browser is closed.
6. Future Use of Optional Technologies
If MediOra Health introduces optional technologies, such as analytics or marketing technologies, in the future, they will be activated only after the user has provided the required consent. This Cookie Policy and the Privacy Policy will be updated before such technologies are used.
7. Relationship to the Privacy Policy
This Cookie Policy provides specific information about cookies and similar technologies used on the MediOra Health website.
Additional information about the processing of personal data, including website hosting, server log files, the contact form, recipients, international transfers, retention and data-subject rights, is provided in the MediOra Health Privacy Policy.
The Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy should be read together.
8. Changes to This Cookie Policy
MediOra Health may update this Cookie Policy where legal requirements, website functionality, service providers or the use of cookies and similar technologies change.
